Product Tests

In product tests, selected test persons are presented with a product for trial consumption or trial handling, respectively. Subsequently the assessment and evaluation of the products are surveyed. The test can refer to the product as a whole or to aspects like its name, packaging, price, taste etc.

Product tests are conducted either as studio tests, home use tests, at the point of sale (POS) or as an online survey. Sample sizes of at least n = 100 are recommended for a representative product test.
